INVITATION
Great Lakes Art Society Inc.(Lake Street Gallery)2017 Members'
Exhibition commenced on 24th September after a very successful opening afternoon tea. The exhibition continues until 6th October
and is open every day from 10am until 4pm.
All welcome and entry is FREE!
The Members' section is not judged; however a Members Choice Award is voted on by the general public and is drawn
at the end of the exhibition. This section showcases artworks in oil, watercolour, pastel and drawings.
The Photographic section was judged by local photographer Craig Mason.The winners were:
- First: "Cornflower" by Denise McDermont. Absolutely beautiful!
- Second: "Fault Line" by John Stranack. So realistic.
- Highly Commended: Working Together by Danny Dunne.A stunning shot of firemen at work.
- Highly Commended: Wilson's Winter by Hayley Craig.
- Highly Commended: Dawn Tide: by Janie News
